Football Foundation Applications / Funding Submissions

Since 2008, over 70 Football Foundation applications have been undertaken with a total project cost excess of £70 million.  A number of applications are currently in the application stage or being supported to obtain further funding.   All applications submitted today have been awarded full grants ranging from 25% to 90% of the project costs.  We have worked on behalf of Local Authorities, Schools, Professional Football Clubs and Amateur Football Clubs. Projects have included the development of 3G artificial grass pitches, changing pavilions and natural turf pitches.
Bids have included combined grants with other funding providers including the Football Stadia Improvement Fund, Premier League Stadia Fund, Sport England, local charities and local authorities.
The relationship we have with staff at the FA and Football Foundation ensures that we can deliver their requirements within the identified timescale to ensure a successful bid.
Submissions have been made to Sport England’s Inspired Facilities Fund, Protecting Playing Fields Fund, Improvement Fund and Community Assets Fund with projects ranging from improvements to drainage on sports facilities to the development of an indoor climbing centre and new leisure facility.
Funding has also been obtained from various landfill operators, local and national charities and from national business campaigns.
